Day by Day Journey
- Day 1
Nairobi - Maasai Mara Game Reserve
You will be picked up from your Nairobi residence / Hotel or the International Airport in the early morning and depart for the famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve driving past the Maasai town of Narok. Arrive at your luxury tented camp where a sumptuous lunch awaits you. Enjoy your first afternoon game drive in search of the “BIG FIVE” and various games that roam these vast plains. Dinner and overnight will be in SOROI MARA BUSH CAMP.
- Day 2
Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Early morning game drive in the reserve. This is the best time to view animals in their natural hunting habitat. Enjoy a delicious picnic breakfast while watching the game around you. Return for lunch at your Camp followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight will be in SOROI MARA BUSH CAMP.
- Day 3
Maasai Mara Game Reserve - Nairobi
Your last early morning game drive at sunrise. Return for breakfast at your camp. Departure afterwards for Nairobi. Afternoon arrival and drop off at your city residence / hotel / International Airport.

- Experienced, English-speaking driver/guide (member of the Kenya Professional Safari Guide Association) and bronze or silver level certificate
- Unlimited game drives during the day as per itinerary
- Park entrance fees and Community levy for Masai Mara National Reserve.
- 2 nights on Full Board basis at Soroi Mara Bush Camp in a standard tent inclusive of 3 meals per day (breakfast, lunch & dinner), filtered water, afternoon tea, and campfire nibbles.
- Complimentary Steel Water Bottle.
- Mineral water in the vehicle during the safari.

Practical Information
Travel Time
The drive from Nairobi to Maasai Mara typically takes 5–6 hours, depending on road conditions, traffic, and your camp or lodge location. A stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint is usually included along the way.
Best Time to Visit
Maasai Mara offers excellent wildlife viewing throughout the year. The Great Migration season (July–October) provides an opportunity to witness massive herds of wildebeest and zebras crossing into the reserve.
Packing Essentials
Bring lightweight, neutral-colored clothing, a warm jacket for early morning game drives, comfortable shoes, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, binoculars, and a camera.
Safari Game Drives
Morning and afternoon game drives offer the best chances of spotting wildlife when animals are most active. Carry a reusable water bottle and keep cameras fully charged before each drive.
Money & Optional Activities
Carry some cash (Kenyan Shillings or US Dollars) for souvenirs, tips, drinks, and optional activities such as a Maasai village visit or a hot air balloon safari. Credit cards are accepted at many lodges and camps, though cash is useful in remote areas.
