Buhoma Lodge, an intimate and charming property that commands spectacular and uninterrupted views of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, home to the rare and elusive Mountain Gorilla. One of only two lodges situated within the National Park, within a short walking distance from the meeting point for gorilla tracking and other activities in the Buhoma area. An elevated central area, complete with lounge, bar and dining area, offers a cosy, comfortable environment to discuss the day’s activities around the fireplaces which add atmosphere and warmth in the cool evenings.

Buhoma Lodge is located within the Buhoma sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, just a short walk from the Uganda Wildlife Authority briefing point, making it one of the most convenient lodges for gorilla trekking.
By road, the lodge is a full-day drive from Entebbe or Kampala, approximately 6–7 hours from Lake Mburo National Park, and 2–3 hours from Queen Elizabeth National Park's Ishasha sector. By air, scheduled and charter flights operate to Kihihi Airstrip, followed by a 90–120-minute road transfer to the lodge.
Buhoma Lodge offers 10 eco-friendly forest-view chalets with en-suite bathrooms, hot showers, private verandas, and some rooms featuring bathtubs. The lodge is designed to blend seamlessly with its rainforest surroundings while maintaining a high level of comfort.
Gorilla trekking is available throughout the year, but the dry seasons (June–September and December–February) generally offer easier hiking conditions. The wetter months provide lush forest scenery, excellent birdwatching opportunities, and fewer visitors. Bwindi's cool highland climate means evenings can be chilly year-round
